Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I was a bit uncertain whether I kept them in character or not. It's my first time writing a fic taking place early on in season 3. I honestly don't know where the licking bit came from. I just thought it would be nice to have Martha see space from the TARDIS before her first adventure. :)
