Aww, so lovely. I'll put in my two cents to say that though I think we'd all like to see Martha make the Doctor suffer just a little, radiantbaby raises good point: I don't think it's out of character for her to give in so soon. Because she's strong and gone though a hell of a time for him, but she didn't seem too put out at the end of it, just deeply relieved and compassionate over his parting with Joan. Here's a man she "loves to bits", absolutely unconditionally, and though we all know she's pretty much the textbook definition of 'independent woman', well, it's a bit hard to resist the Doctor's charm (not to mention his 'not-a-genetic-transfer' kisses.) :)
Besides, there's nothing like a blind date to shed light on what a great guy your ex really was (oh, poor 'ol Henry. Does have a finely-tuned sense of self-preservation, though.)
“My whole life – a tragedy in three parts,” Martha said, making a face. Really loved that, sounded so Martha in my head.
Because if blokes thought two girls kissing was hot, then why not the other way around? Especially when they were attractive… Ahahahaha, YES. Up for that Unexpected!Naked!Jack fic-swap yet? I'll show you mine if you show me yours. ;)
Maybe that second kiss can make it into the sequel?
