Just got around to reading this!
You've done a great job weaving in and describing The Dark is Rising characters for us less knowledgeable about the books crowd ;).
I have to say the overall mood is creepy, but that's a good thing! I really wonder what's going on with that transplant thing, and poor Freya seems to be on the bad side of the scheme.
Good news is that I'm hooked, I'm excited for the next chapter!
