I read DiR in elementary school too, but not as required reading. I'd read ahead in class so my teacher sent me to the library, lol. I actually liked DiR the best, but "The Grey King" was my second favorite. Will was my favorite character, and so when he was made to be a minor character in the middle books I didn't like them as much (despite them being well written overall). I'm like that with the Narnia series too, though. Peter and Edmund were/are my favorites, so once they got "too old" I wasn't a happy reader, lol.
I did have a good weekend, and thanks for the Easter wishes! I hope the same to you, if you celebrate the holiday. :)
