OMG - Merlin isn't delusional! :P
So, pictures are worth a thousand words and this is cute and all. But still, in the nonsensical part of my brain - I still think that poor Merlin is in denial about his feelings for Arthur. So while Merlin gets that whole brilliant mess sorted out in his head, he's pushing Arthur toward Gwen - "Look, Arthur! Something shiny!"
Or it could just be a weary attempt by the show to make Arthur/Gwen (oh, the het! my eyes. :p) really legit by having the title character be all like, "C'mon, Arthur. So she's a servant - look how awesome she is! And pretty...and um...has nice hair, nice skin (whatever HBP movie! WTH - nice skin? Seriously!), and other nice assets!...oh, and a good heart...I remember, I told her not to lose that - well, not literally lose her heart...you know...yeah."
*pets confused Merlin*
All of the above is not meant to be taken seriously...just the whole "Merlin/Arthur is threatened with the oncoming Arthur/Gwen OH HELL NO! RUN!" is ridiculous just a bit. People just have to accept that Arthur/Gwen is meant to be in the legend, so it's inevitable. Small consolation, I suppose, that Gwen/Lancelot is a part of the legend as well. So, if you think of it that way...when that tragedy strikes, at least Merlin will still be by Arthur's side to help get him through that difficult time...
In the meantime - cute Arthur/Gwen moments on set. :-)

^ Those should tide me over until September 19, I hope!
Merlin looks thinner. :-( And Morgana definitely doesn't look like she'll have an easy time of it...
Plus, Mordred!

LOL about the 'good skin' comment in HP. Where did it come from? It's weird.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree.

Definitely, though I hate having to wait until it gets online somewhere. I'll just console myself with the awesomeness of "Supernatural." At least I could watch that show right when it first airs. But still..."Merlin" is cracky fun! I adore the show.

Isn't it? It's so cute and couple-y looking.
I don't want Arthur/Gwen. It's too soon for Arthur/Gwen for me. But I guess I'll see how it goes.
Yeah, I'm going between accepting it or wishing they would wait a little longer. I'm conflicted on that matter. It really does feel too soon, I agree.
I hope they give Merlin some girl to uh..."fawn" over to balance it all out. I think Morgana would be the best choice (my interest in Merlin/Morgana aside, lol) just because she's a developed character. I would hate it if they give Merlin some random servant we haven't met before and shove her in our faces.
I want a girl we've met and gotten to know - and Morgana fits that. Not to mention she'll most likely be grappling with her Seer powers and what it means for her. She could use some support from Merlin - I could see them growing closer as a result. At the very least, form a strong friendship...

I wish I had a clue. It was a line insert in the Half Blood Prince movie. I really don't know what they were thinking. I guess it was supposed to be awkward in a sweet way. Like awww...Harry and Ron are talking about their respective loves and all they can think of is their "nice skin." *shakes head*

I'm looking forward to the Arthur/Gwen. It started out pretty intense when she gave him that bowl of porridge. I mean, realistically, where do they even GO from there? I'm holding out that this season, she makes him a stew. Or maybe he just dreams that. And then he kisses her in gratitude, because he was for totes hungry and she put the good meat in.
