I really loved the knight who heard Morgana was a vampire and "scratched nervously at his neck." Nice image. Poor knight, I'd say he's well right to tread carefully where Morgana's concerned.
The vampire inclusion was my attempt at making this a Halloween fic... but I suppose the fic overall works as a Halloween fic since everyone is "in costume" and no one is what we expect them to be (Merlin is a king versus a manservant, etc.). I can just imagine the rumors Merlin and Morgana spread about themselves to make Aberdeen a kingdom not to be trifled with. ;)
