I love the idea of Arthur talking himself out of the fury against his father (as much as I love angry!avenging!Arthur, don't get me wrong.) There is so much cuteness and irony to be had between these two sets, I love it.
I couldn't think of a better way to go about it...considering the daemon!Arthur had time to come to terms with how he was born -- and who better to explain the situation than yourself? Though you're right - angry!avenging!Arthur was nice to watch, no doubt about that (well, until the setback when Merlin stopped him [in the show]). I like how I wrote it in this fic a bit more. :)
I suppose you can't really hug effectively if you're riding different horses, but I still wanted it.
Yeah, unfortunately you can't. I may consider a hug in the near future in the main fic. Just because you asked, lol. ;)
And the two of them raced across the landscape, Krola running with great enthusiasm alongside them and Zlota flying swiftly up high.

I'm glad you liked that bit! That's my favorite scene of this one-shot - I still get a smile on my face when I picture it. It's a shame I can't draw much either. :( That would be an awesome image - even better a live action scene of that, but that's less likely. :(
