[Ok, first: aslkjdh; your mood theme is so CUTE lsdhjf;lskd :D]
Thank you! Despite spending some time putting together a Merlin/Being Human/Doctor Who mood theme, I just had to end up changing it only two weeks later. My love of Legend of the Seeker compelled me to! :P You can't go wrong with an animated Richard/Kahlan mood theme. And it's the first theme in a while that I haven't mix and matched. Out of respect for the awesomeness of Richard/Kahlan, I kept this one as is. And it really is too cute. I wouldn't change one mood on it. *there's no going back for me* ;)
Morgana had named the child Cara and Arthur nodded. “Kahlan and James.” I C WUT U DID THAR :D
LOL. Yes, you caught it. I could have named the boy Richard, but I thought that was just too weird (since Kahlan & Richard are supposed to be a couple). So James is in reference to James Potter. Subtle, right? :p
And I thought Cara was a pretty name, but yes, I totally was thinking of Cara from LotS. Now I don't wish this Cara to be like Mord Sith Cara completely...just her general kickass personality.
I'm considering that Cara should be an actress. Yes, I'm thinking of writing a sequel to this. I have scenes in mind and how it'll end, but the tone of it will be much more somber than this fic. I almost don't want to write it because of that. :( I should talk it over with you. I'm sure you'll hate me for the idea. Maybe I could just nix it and go a more fluffy route? *ponders*
Lastly: “Cara is going to think we’re mad when she grows up and starts asking about her birth parents. ‘Yes, Cara, Merlin is your father…no…not that one, the original one. Oh, and your mother was born 1500 years ago. Her name was Morgana and she was King Arthur’s sister.’ That will go over brilliantly, I’m sure.” OH GODS YOUR ARTHUR. And then the STUFFED SWORD. And the "Be my valentine, idiot" and "we've lived enough lives to be beyond jewelry" <3 <3 <3
♥ All my favorite bits. :) Glad you liked them too. Arthur explaining the birth parents thing was my favorite bit of all to write. I couldn't resist - it needed to be said. ;)
Also, thanks for the Jack Harkness comparison. I didn't realize it until you pointed it out, but it's so true. Yes, Arthur was totally channeling Jack there. :p
