Delay :-(

My laptop pretty much died about a week ago (though I was able to back up necessary files), so that's why I haven't been around (commenting, posting new chapters, etc.). I have my fics all saved, of course, but it'll take a while longer to post an update. I'm planning on ordering a laptop online soon, so if all goes well, by next weekend, I'll have my own laptop again.

I'm not sure when Touched will be updated since a one-shot idea came to me before I really got started on the next chapter. I don't even know if the one-shot will turn into a multi-chapter, but I'm trying to keep it in check. I'll probably post the one-shot first...possibly within the next two weeks? And then, if school stuff will permit me, the next chapter of Touched will be number one on my fics-to-update list.

I have a lot to catch up on - I'm looking forward to reading the fics that have been posted recently. :-)

Thanks for the hug. :) I knew it would happen sooner or later since the laptop is already six years old. I'm glad it happened before finals time at least. I just purchased a laptop online, so hopefully it'll be here by the end of next weekend. By the end of September at the worst, but I'd want my money back if that's the case. :p

Always good to back stuff up on your computer - you never know when it'll really crash on you to the point that you can't access anything. Technology is fickle that way. :-(

Glad you'd backed up! I'm absolutely paranoid about backing up everything since my laptop flipped out a few weeks ago!!

Sorry for the delay in answering. I'm glad I backed up as well, though it still sucks overall. I just checked the order status of my laptop and it's still in production. The estimated shipping date is Sept. 15, which I'm hoping doesn't turn out to be the case (earlier is better). Though I'm occupied with school stuff anyway, so I'm not sure when I'll get back to writing fic (even though I really want to get back to it). :(
