OMG. How eerie.

So I made a little trip to tumblr land and found an entry where someone gave reasonings for what houses each of the Misfits and a few of the other characters on the show would be in.

Nathan was Ravenclaw! Although someone said he could probably be Slytherin as well because he likes to manipulate people and he is a bit mean. I'm sure the Sorting Hat would hover between Ravenclaw and Slytherin for him.

He's Ravenclaw (according to others) because:

Although he doesn’t act it, Nathan is very intelligent when necessary. He is an excellent planner, when the event calls for it. Although nearly always crude, his humor is constant and biting.

Also, there's "witty and intelligent in so many unobvious ways."

Tumblr source

Though this all may seem like it's glorifying him, I think it fits for Nathan. He can be clever when he wants to be (see 1x06). I don't quite see Nathan as a Slytherin because he's anti-violence and even freaked out when he realized he killed a mouse (just a mouse!). And even when it looked like he was carrying a gun in 1x06, it was only a water pistol.

I find it hard to believe Nathan would ever carry an actual gun...not to mention he declared that he was not a fighter and feels just fine with allowing a girl (Kelly because she's kickass - she was a Gryffindor, OMG yes. So true) to take care of the fighting while he stands by and freaks out. Nathan clearly hides behind his humor, treating it like a defense mechanism to keep others from getting too close most of the time.

Anyway, so the point of this is that I love getting this validation...since Nathan is Merlin reincarnated in some of my stories and I see Merlin as Ravenclaw...it's just really nice that Misfits!Nathan can be viewed as a Ravenclaw as well (even if my Nathan is an AU version with the whole Merlin thing, the Ravenclaw similarity is still appreciated :)).

*cheers*

So interesting! Those characters are so well-rounded, I can see it argued a couple of different ways, particularly for Simon and Nathan. But of course the real question is....

...what would their daemons be? ;D
