:( :( :(

There's a likely chance that Camelot (on STARZ) won't get another season. There has been no news of a second season when other shows like The Borgias and Game of Thrones have gotten renewals. *sad sigh* And I was enjoying Camelot too. I haven't seen the latest episode yet, but I plan to. People involved with Camelot are going to be in other things...notably the guy who plays Arthur (Jamie Campbell Bower) got a lead role in the adaptation of the book series, The Mortal Instruments.

Info from here: http://camelot-tv.livejournal.com/44660.html

But maybe it's too soon to call. There hasn't been official news yet that there won't be a second season of the show...so there's still hope. I'll miss Eva Green being Morgan if there's no 2nd season -- she's just so good in that role.

Or maybe I should get on finally checking out Game of Thrones/The Borgias. :p

Oh no! :( I hope it's not true, I was looking forward to two adaptations running concurrently so we'd have our choice between weighty drama or kitten crack. Oh, well. I'm really looking forward to seeing Eva Green in the series. And I'm sure there will be another adaptation before we know it, producers can't seem to stay away from Camelot long.

I'm sorry, though, I know you were enjoying it. If nothing else, it will always be remembered as the series that got you to ship Arthur/Guinevere. Oh those crazy times.

If you decide to check out Games of Thones/The Borgias, please let me know how you like them! I mean, they're already in my good books for starring Boromir/Jeremy Irons, but I'd love to have someone to fangirl with.

(...Huhuhuhuh, Boromir/Jeremy Irons. Now I can't unsee it. And the view's none too shabby.)

LOL at Merlin being kitten crack. *giggles* I agree. ;) You haven't seen more than the first episode of "Camelot", right? It should be a fun ride for you catching up with the show when you can. There have been some good episodes...the Lady of the Lake episode was lovely. Interesting twist on the legend, I thought.

Eva Green is so good as Morgan -- I'm sure you'll like her portrayal. If you're feeling down about Morgana's turn in BBC's Merlin, seeing Eva Green as Morgan is a breath of fresh air (like in "The Mists of Avalon" miniseries where you feel sympathetic toward Morgaine).

Yes, they got me persuaded for A/G even if it's a complete melodrama surrounding them and I feel bad for Leontes. *sigh*

I'm going to watch Game of Thrones first because it seems like my kind of show more. But I'll probably watch The Borgias concurrently as well.

Now I did start watching the first episode of Game of Thrones weeks ago...but I didn't finish the first episode, and I probably shouldn't have started watching it when I was feeling rather tired. I couldn't get myself engaged enough into the episode -- the bed was calling me. :p

But I'm ready to give the show another chance when I'm more awake. *nods* When I learned that one character was named Bran, I got a bit excited. :p He looks nothing like the Bran from "The Dark is Rising" (considering his strange appearance, that's no surprise), but it was still a boy named Bran...it got me intrigued.

(...Huhuhuhuh, Boromir/Jeremy Irons. Now I can't unsee it. And the view's none too shabby.)

Hmmm...I could see that.
