Sherlock 2x03
The Reichenbach Fall:
Awww poor John. I liked his speech at Sherlock's grave.
I just knew that Sherlock would make it out alive. This is Moffat here after all...he does have his thing for "everyone lives" PLUS Arthur Conan Doyle did bring Sherlock Holmes back after Reichenbach Falls... the question in this episode is HOW Sherlock faked his death. What an evil cliffhanger there! I would guess that Molly had a part to play in that as we don't quite know for certain what Sherlock asked her to do.
I did love that Lestrade was included in Sherlock's three friends who Moriarity (well his hitmen) planned to kill. Still a fan of Lestrade -- how can anyone not be? ;) I liked how he wasn't that keen on going after Sherlock after he and John ran off as fugitives.
Moriarity is certainly an evil genius -- leading everyone to believe that Sherlock was a fraud. Of course John didn't believe that no matter if Sherlock asked him to believe it right before he did his swan dive.
So is Moriarity really dead? Or could he have faked his death (seems really unlikely) like Sherlock did?
I'm not sure whether to feel sorry for Mycroft or mad at him because the information he gave about Sherlock to Moriarity ended up ruining Sherlock's life.
All in all; this was a great, riveting finale for S2. I rewatched the first episode of S1 before watching this episode...it was on PBS, so I thought why not? I spotted some callbacks to the first episode, which was cool.
I do hope that there's a S3. After all, an explanation is needed for how Sherlock's still alive.

Happy (belated) Birthday by the way! I made you a birthday banner a few days ago. I know you've been having internet troubles though.

And then John, needing to touch Sherlock's grave, just for a moment.
*throws a BAFTA at Martin Freeman and dissolves back into weeping*
If Sherlock waits three years to tell John he's alive, I'm going to be so pissed off.

Martin Freeman was so, so good in this episode. I completely agree with you. He deserves all the awards for his performance.
Oh no, I'd hate that too if Sherlock waited that long to tell John. Then again that's how it was in the original story, right? *is nervous* Who knows if they'll decide to follow it when it comes to that detail. Or maybe they'll do a middleground and have it be one and a half years instead of three.
