Going back into vid-making...

I used to make fanvids for another fandom - only a few really coz Windows Movie Maker was a pain to work with - and I've recently been inspired to go back into vidding. I had this one idea, but I may have to wait on it because I want to ease myself back into it and not start out big. The idea is manageable though - it's just tricky with finding the right clips to match.

I've decided to try my hand at a 10/Martha vid coz I found a good song for it and I haven't seen it used for the ship yet. I just have to get the clips all together. It will be to Rob Thomas' "All That I Am." Should be fun to do. :-)

My other 'bigger' idea has probably not been done before especially with this particular storyline. I'm still unsure as to what songs I want to use. But anyway, it's Nine/Rose with a little Nine/Martha (hence the trickiness). And I didn't miswrite that! LOL

So basically the story is Nine loses Rose, but then he finds he is able to move on when he meets Martha. I think persiflage_1's Nine/Martha fics influenced the idea a bit. And anyway, why does it have to be about Ten all the time? Nine could use some love and it would have been nice if Martha had met him. :-)

Oooh! I love 'All That I Am', haven't seen it used for Martha/Ten either so that'll be fun! I worked with WMM for two years before I just didn't have the patience anymore. I would suggest Sony Vegas but if you're just getting back into vidding it can be tricky! (Not to mention expensive unless you use every trial known to man first)

Thanks - I'm glad you like the idea for the 10/Martha vid. I've just been listening to that song the past few days and felt I could do something with it.

I have heard about Sony Vegas - I really want to try it out, but I know it's a hard program to work with (like you said), but as long as the trouble is worth it. :) I may look into a trial version - it would be nice to move on from WMM especially if it'll keep freezing up on me like it did before. :(

Sony rarely freezes so you can actually do other things BESIDES vid at the same time, haha! And aww thanks :D
