Quick update (fic & vid)

I'm working on editing the next chapter of "It's Like Falling". It's taking a while because I want to make sure I get the characterization and the tone of certain scenes right. I'm going back and forth with my beta on it and I'm sure by the end of this process, I'll probably have memorized the chapter. A lot happens in the chapter, so it is quite long. I think I'll be able to keep to my five chapter-length for the story. The final chapter is more of an epilogue, I think, considering it takes the story in a different direction.

Also, I began working on the Nine/Martha vid I talked about before. It's rather short at the moment because it's more of an experiment of maniping different scenes together to make it look realistic. Granted, Windows Movie Maker is mostly made of fail, but I think it's all right. I may edit it a bit more and then post it sometime in the near future...

My friend wrote this fic with Ten, Martha & Jack in it for me as a Christmas gift. She based it off of prompts that I gave her. It's pretty much complete crack because well...here is what I asked her to have in it (it was optional to include them all).

Scenario: Ten, Martha & Jack make a public scene of some sort
Objects: banana, lots and lots of mistletoe, chocolate, rope
Places: some time in the past or an alien planet (she chose an alien planet)

She just sent me the fic today so I could look it over. Hopefully I can get her to post it...and despite some of the suggestive prompts, the fic did manage to stay PG-13ish (even though Ten, Martha & Jack do make a public scene).

I can't wait to see what you do with Chapter 4; I should have warned you that I teach writing! :-) I can't help myself...

Oh, I don't mind. I knew I really needed a second opinion on this chapter. Now I know what's working and what isn't. Hopefully the story will be better for it. Thanks for the help!

I'm sure she will. I told her I wouldn't let it go until she would. Ten, Martha & Jack are my favorite trio and she enjoyed writing their interaction (I think writing this story made her realize how great they were together). :)

I'm glad it's been helpful--I thought this was an interesting premise from the beginning, and it's been neat to be a part of it.

Yeah for more Ten/Martha/Jack love; I quite enjoy them together too!
