Mini Picspam - "I only go for humans." Scene from Smith & Jones

*Note: Images are big...

This is a sad one, particularly Martha's side of it. When she put her head down after trying to deny her interest in the Doctor, I really sympathized with her. Even after the first time I saw it and I was still getting over Rose being gone. I really wanted to smack the Doctor too, but I can see where he's coming from. Hard to move on, I suppose. But anyway, poor Martha! :(

The words in parentheses are my own thoughts as to what they're thinking (at least in my opinion, so it's sort of like a mini-fic in that respect).

That was interesting & well done! I now feel those illustrious plot bunnies nipping at my ankles.

I may just send them your way as you already have something going here for Ten & Martha.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it and that it woke up the plot bunnies. :)

I thought some people didn't want to be reminded of the tense start that Ten & Martha had. But I just had to use these pics because they look pretty in them. :P And really anything from "Smith and Jones" is *love*.

Well, doing this picspam has stirred up some ideas. We'll see. Any ideas that you have are welcome. I love prompts - they help get things started. :)

Hello! *waves*

This was sweet, I liked your thoughts into their thoughts.

And I know watching through all of Season 3 I wanted to smack The Doctor a few times for Martha's sake but I could also understand where he was coming from. Its sad on both their sides.

Hello! *waves*

*waves back* I see you friended me back. Thanks. :)

I'm glad you liked it. :) I hadn't planned on adding those additional thoughts, but the images inspired me to.

And I know watching through all of Season 3 I wanted to smack The Doctor a few times for Martha's sake but I could also understand where he was coming from. Its sad on both their sides.

I agree on all counts. It was rather sad, but the Doctor's behavior toward her at times was not admirable. :\

As much as I sympathized with Ten's feelings, I really just wanted to give him a good ole smack upside the head.

I agree. I'm wondering if that's what the writers were trying to get across - that sometimes the Doctor can just be so irritating. :\

And the repeated thank you's to Martha and not much else to show his appreciation for her didn't help. Maybe his recommending her to UNIT helped, but still that was after their time together. Possibly too little, too late.

And so the dance begins--that moment is forever burned on my brain as the moment when I started to dislike the Doctor. I just wanted to hug Martha something fierce!

I like "Smith and Jones" overall, but it's moments like these that just make me roll my eyes at the Doctor's actions. And at numerous points in Series 3, I was wondering when Martha would finally say "I've had enough" and leave.

I just wanted to hug Martha something fierce!

Me too. Poor Martha. :( If she only knew at that point what she was in for.
