Of course, Arthur has to leave - not sure Merlin would have been as successful at distracting the guards otherwise. But really, I can just see Arthur hiding out nearby to witness Merlin doing magic... because he has got to have his suspicions by now about Merlin. Too much to hope for, oh well. :(

Me too! If going out to rescue Gwen gives Arthur and Merlin a chance to get up to their usual shenanigans, I'm all game! :-)
