he probably felt that he should make up for his lack of expressed appreciation for Martha, so he loaded it all on Donna - even though she hasn't really done anything yet!
Oh totally. I remember thinking, 'hey, save some of that for Martha!' Although maybe the Doctor is finally learning to--gasp!--talk about his feelings for the person he's with with the person he's with, instead of angsting about it to subsequent Companions!
Good point about Tom--weird, someone loving you for doing things you can't remember. :) And aww, good 'ol Gramps, I love the choices they made to put him in the know in a positive way. They better not kill him off, I swear to God...
