Author’s notes: This is an alternative ending to my one-shot This Time Around. Unlike that story, the Doctor waits longer to visit Martha after she leaves. This is the first part of the third chapter, I'll post the second part later this weekend. Hopefully I'll make some head way with Chapter 4 before then. I have scenes in mind - it's just the issue of typing it out.
