Summary: In Arthur’s first reincarnated life, he hopes to finally have a proper relationship with Merlin. While they couldn’t be together the way they wanted in the days of Camelot, this new modern world opens up possibilities for them.

Everything is going well during their reunion until Arthur discovers that there’s one change in Merlin’s current incarnation that he can’t so easily accept.

Author's Notes: Written for deathsblood for glomp_fest. Prompts used were: canon AU (which ventures into reincarnation fic, but the setting is mostly in a palace atmosphere, so yeah...), pining, love potions, do-it-overs and some angst. A big thank you to a8c_sock  for the beta and for her helpful advice. I appreciate it. :-)

Disclaimer: The characters depicted herein belong to Shine and BBC.  The name Nathan Young and his physical appearance, Irish accent & immortality are thanks to the TV show, "Misfits." The idea of the wizarding world is, of course, from the Harry Potter book series.
